Biography
Farr Alpaca Co. was a textile manufacturer in Holyoke, Massacusetts. They were founded in 1873 amidst national financial crisis with a capital of $250,000. Despite the financial challenges of the time, Farr Alpaca Co. found great success and immediately increased production to their mill’s capacity with 255 looms. They processed their textiles from raw materials through dying to finishing.
