Carol E. Hoffecker (1938-) is Richards Professor Emerita of History at the University of Delaware and has published books on Delaware history and culture. She was inducted into the Delaware Women's Hall of Fame and received the University of Delaware's College of Arts and Science Distinguished Lifetime Service Award in 2003.
