Abstract
Walter Wanger, born in San Francisco on July 11, 1894, was a Hollywood producer with a career that spanned almost five decades, and was responsible for the production of many successful films, including Queen Christina (starring Greta Garbo), Stagecoach, Alfred Hitchcock’s Foreign Correspondent, and Robert Wise’s I Want to Live, for which Susan Hayward won an Academy Award.
