Scope and Contents
Edward E. "Ted" Kaufman served as Senator Joe Biden's Chief of Staff from 1976 to 1995. In 2008, Delaware Governor Ruth Ann Minner appointed Kaufman to fill the Senate seat vacated by Senator Biden prior to his inauguration as Vice President. Kaufman served as a U.S. Senator from Delaware from 2009-2010.
