Drafts of "Examination of an Enquiry into a Nineteenth-Century 'Shelley Fake' by Thomas J. Wise and William Roberts."

Garland's article, written for Oak Knoll as an introduction to a series of small articles marking Wiseian anniversaries, reexamined Wise's awareness of paper and typography. In these handwritten and type drafts, Garland argued against the prevailing belief that Wise was ignorant of the problems that paper and printing presented a forger.
