A blank petition from the Delaware "First State" Committee to Impeach Nixon dated July 3, 1973 calling on the House of Representatives to begin the impeachment process against President Richard Nixon.

Script, audio cassette and 132 black-and-white and color slides containing the audio/visual presentation, "Forward Women from Delaware's Past," created by Delaware's Governor's Commission on the Status of Women.

One handwritten set of rules and regulations governing the schedule, behavior, and proceedings of the Delaware Blues military company. Also included are forty signatures of the members of the company.

Consists of a handwritten essay by University of Delaware student Frank Mulderick for a course on Delaware History.

Letter from John Dickinson and Thomas McKean, delegates to the Continental Congress, to Caesar Rodney, then President of Delaware. Writing at the direction of Congress, Dickinson and McKean request Rodney appoint a sufficient guard to take custody of sixty-four prisoners captured aboard the British sloop-of-war Harlem.

Autograph letter from John Dickinson, Founding Father of the United States and politician, to Tench Coxe, American political economist and Pennsylvania Delegate to the Congress of Confederation, thanking him for his reply. The letter is accompanied by an etched profile portrait of Dickinson.

Consists of one handwritten document certifying six delegates and six alternates as representatives of the State of Delaware at the Republican National Convention held in Chicago, Illinois, on June 19, 1888. The document, drafted by the Delaware Republican State Convention, is signed by Convention President W. Hastings and Secretary Caleb R. Layton.

A typed letter from Alice Coleman du Pont to her daughter, Ellen du Pont Meeds, concerning an enclosed book on the geneaology of the Du Pont family.

Consists of late 19th-century business correspondence, regarding the Wilmington & Northern Railroad in Delaware, between company president Henry A. du Pont and David Heber Plank.

Two letters from Samuel Francis du Pont to Alexander Dallas Bache, a professor of Chemistry at the University of Pennsylvania, about a planned future visit by du Pont to Bache's residence. Also included is a letter of application to Bache on behalf of an individual who has worked with du Pont in the past.

A handwritten letter to Sophie Madeleine du Pont, wife of Samuel Francis du Pont, possibly from her friend Clementina Smith. The letter consists of discussion of a number of personal matters, including Sophie du Pont's recent poor health, as well as problems Clementina has encountered in procuring access to a building for Sunday school, among others.

One autograph receipt from Millville, Delaware, dry goods dealer E. C. Dukes to Mrs. Frank Williams for assorted dry goods on November 24, 1899.

The Jeannette Slocomb Edwards papers consist of a photocopy of a Christmas poem, a handwritten Christmas/New Year's postcard with a drawing and poem by Edwards on the front, several newspaper clippings and an obituary related to Edwards, who was a poet laureate for the state of Delaware.

An autograph collection of letters signed by several Episcopal bishops of Delaware, compiled by the Episcopal Theological Seminary (predecessor to Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, Massachusetts) librarian. Bishops represented in the collection: J. Brooke Mosley, Jr., Philip Cook, Arthur R. McKinstry, William H. Mead, Frederick Joseph Kinsman, Alfred Lee, and Leighton Coleman. Also included are images of Bishop McKinstry and Kinsman, clipped from periodicals.

One mimeographed typescript of a paper titled, "Saint George's Chapel, Indian River Hundred: Its history and Its restoration," detailing the various construction episodes of Saint George's Chapel in Harbeson, Delaware, dating back to the eighteenth-century, with particular emphasis on the church's construction and its restoration in 1966.

Missionary contributions report prepared by Domestic and Foreign Missionary Society of the Protestant Episcopal Church treasurer, George C. Thomas, accounting for the receipts from each parish in the Episcopal Diocese of Delaware for September 1, 1906, to May 1, 1907. Additional handwritten notes on verso.

The papers consist of a greeting card, a Delaware poetry day dinner program, two poems, "Alive This Night" and "Martian Landscape" (initialed and dated), and newspaper clippings related to Abbie Huston Evans, a poet, born in New England, who later worked and taught in Philadelphia.

Two bonds by John and Thomas Evens conveying land to Mosis [Moses] McDaniel in Sussex County, Delaware, on July 10, 1777, and July 24, 1778.

Printed brochure describing the program and travel arrangements for the literary society's group trip to a local grove, Elysian Fields, on June 4, 1870.

A court summons and injunction to the president and directors of the Farmers Bank of Delaware regarding loans and notes of Mordicai McKinney issued by the court of Nicholas Ridgely, New Castle County, Delaware, dated January 9, 1819.

This land indenture between Robert Ferguson, his wife Jane, deeds a parcel of land located in New-Ark, White Clay Creek Hundred in New Castle County, Delaware, to Joseph Kinkead on July 24, 1781.

Five receipts or notes made out to Wilmington, Delaware, cabinetmaker John Ferris from John Lea, Isaac Andrews, Henry Stidham, and Nathan Miller, as well as one note written by Ferris all spanning from 1775 to 1779.

Autograph letter from Henry Fisher, prominent Delaware figure in the American Revolution, to Robert Morris, a Founding Father often referred to as the financier of the American revolution, requesting payment to William Ware for the transport of naval cannons and other naval goods. Ware's signature acknowledges receipt of payment from Morris.
