Dennis Jackson collection of letters

 Collection
Identifier: MSS 0099-F0982

Content Description

University of Delaware English professor Dennis Jackson amassed a collection of typed and signed letters from prominent authors and poets, including one from W. D. Snodgrass, one from Adrienne Rich, and two from Eudora Welty, spanning from 1984 to 2001. The correspondence principally revolves around politely declining offers to include certain of the author's works in contemporary anthologies or their inability to make readings and appearances at the University of Delaware due to lack of time and energy.
