Additionally, the collection contains a letter from Snow's wife, novelist, poet, dramatist and critic, Pamela Hansford Johnson, to Mizener's wife Rosemary, sending news of her children's lives and travels in America, thanking her "for making [their] stay in Ithaca so enjoyable," anticipating seeing her and Arthur in England, and writing concerning her latest work. Finally, a typed, one-page publisher's announcement on printed decorated letterhead reading "News of Scribner Books and Authors," dated November 6, 1957, providing biographical and critical information about Snow and announcing both the release of his novel, The Conscience of the Rich, and his forthcoming two-month American lecture tour at colleges and universities throughout the country.
