Content Description

John Carter's copy of a typescript of the unpublished paper read by Stanley Morison at Westcott House, Cambridge on May 5, 1956, titled Kingship and Christianity. This copy includes Carter's book label on the front pastedown, and includes a handwritten postscript in Morison's calligraphic hand of 12 lines and a handwritten dedication to John Carter on the title page. Finely bound by Sangorski & Sutcliffe with paper covered boards which depict the SM device desinged by Reynolds Stone.
