John A. (Alexander) Moore (1923-1999) was a chemistry professor at the University of Delaware from 1956-1987. He was the author of multiple textbooks and scientific papers. He specialized in organic chemistry. This collection includes research notes and notebooks, copies of various organic chemistry books, correspondence, tools (rulers, a ship curve, a chemist's triangle), syllabi and final exams, information about academic conference, business cards, forms and correspondence related to Moore's tenure as a professor at the University of Delaware, and lantern slides used to present his research.
