Scope and Contents

Anita Puglisi (1944-2010) was the Public Advisory Committee (PAC) representative for the city of Newark, Delaware, and was a member and past president of the Delaware League of Women Voters. The Anita Puglisi papers contain zoning and planning information for Newark, including general operating budgets, fiscal information, planning commission minutes, and Citizens Task Force reports. The collection also contains meeting minutes, memorandums, correspondence, newsletters, and other material related to organizations Puglisi was involved in, such as the Wilmington Area Planning Council (WILMAPCO), the PAC, the League of Women Voters of Greater Newark, the Delaware League of Women Voters, Stand Up For What’s Right and Just (SURJ), and the Delaware Department of Transportation (DELDOT). Also included in this collection is a copy of Delaware Women Remembered (1977).
