Abstract
The magazine Wendingen was the expression of a group of young Dutch architects, a subgroup of the members of the professional association Architectura et Amicitia which included not only architects and engineers, but artists, skilled technicians, and craftsmen. The wood engravings in this collection were produced for issue number 7/8 of volume II of Wendingen, published July/August 1919. The issue was devoted to wood engravings, which they refer to as "xylography."
