This original mimeographed typescript is Herbert D. Greggs's copy of his playscript for Green Bags/White Linen: a one-act play.

Bound in unprinted black wrappers, the playscript has written on the title page, "Herb's copy," and bears the author's address label. A few pages of the script bear ink holograph corrections made by Greggs.

Herbert D. Greggs

American playwright Herbert D. Greggs was the general manager of the United States Institute for Theatre Technology Inc. in Syracuse, New York.

In 1979, the Herbert D. Greggs Awards, which promote innovative and in-depth writing about theatre design an technology in TD&T (Theatre Design & Technology), were founded to honor the highly-regarded Greggs.
