Williams (R-Delaware) on August 23, 1983, and September 13, 1983, conducted by Frederick Lauter, former University of Delaware graduate student and former chair of the Department of History and Political Science at Delaware State University. Discussion topics include Senator William's relationship with the press and his involvement investigating the Bureau of Internal Revenue, former name of the Internal Revenue Service, while serving on the Senate Finance Committee during the 1950s, as well as his elections to and general thoughts about the United States Senate.
