Possibly incomplete. Rough draft of an untitled work which appears to be a version of the "Fabian Manifesto."

Written as a review of Henry Festing Jones' two volume biography, Samuel Butler, Author of Erewhon (1835-1902), it is, rather, a biting commentary on Butler's philosophy, life and work. This is very much a statement of Shaw's own principles and views on English society.
