Ms. Young was a longtime Delaware resident and niece of Alice Dunbar-Nelson (author, educator, activist and former wife of African American poet Paul Lawrence Dunbar). This folder includes an original charcoal portrait of Ms. Young, a featured article published in the May 1981 edition of the Tangent, a draft of the May ’81 article, and a letter from Ms. Young to Chris Oakley.
