The collection contains posters, fliers, postcards, calendars, newsletters, programs and other printed and hand-drawn ephemera documenting the activities of poets, live performance venues, and literary networks largely associated with the California and New York experimental poetry scenes.

The Everett C. & Louise Stanton Johnson papers concern the personal affairs of prominent Delaware publisher and politician Everett C. In addition, the collection contains material from their Newark publishing house, the Press of Kells, which brought the Arts and Crafts Movement to the community from 1916 to 1918.
