Franklin C. and Joanne Currier Daiber papers
Professor Emeritus of marine studies Franklin C. Daiber (1919-2003) and his wife Joanne Currier Daiber (1927-2007) were two of the first marine scientists hired by the University of Delaware in the 1950s. The Franklin C. and Joanne Currier Daiber papers include correspondence, photographs, negatives, artwork, and publications documenting their personal relationships and professional research and scholarship as marine scientists at the University of Delaware in the mid-twentieth century.
Richard Harding Davis collection
The Richard Harding Davis collection is a small association collection containing six autographed letters signed by the author; four newspapers clippings; several photographs of Davis and his estate, Crossroads Farm in Mt. An autograph collection of letters signed by several Episcopal bishops of Delaware, compiled by the Episcopal Theological Seminary (predecessor to Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, Massachusetts) librarian. Bishops represented in the collection: J. Brooke Mosley, Jr., Philip Cook, Arthur R. McKinstry, William H. Mead, Frederick Joseph Kinsman, Alfred Lee, and Leighton Coleman. Also included are images of Bishop McKinstry and Kinsman, clipped from periodicals.
