Gérard Charrière (1935- ) is a Swiss book artist and painter. The Gérard Charrière papers consist of correspondence, artists' books, catalogs, brochures, periodicals, postcards, artworks, sketches, and printed ephemera collected and created by Charrière. The bulk of the collection comprises correspondence and materials from Charrière’s artist friends and colleagues.

Abstract

The Gloria Frym publicity materials and typescripts comprise seven poetry typescripts by award-winning American poet, lecturer, and writer Gloria Frym (1947-), as well as publicity material relating to her receipt of the San Francisco State University Poetry Center's 1982 Book Award for Back to Forth. These items were originally laid into American poet Tom Clark's (1941-) copy of Back to Forth, which was inscribed to him by Frym.

Abstract

The Louis Untermeyer papers consist of five linear feet of manuscript material abandoned by Untermeyer when he sold his Adirondack home, Stony Water, around 1970. Dating from 1902 through 1972, with the bulk of the papers dating 1912–1935, the collection is composed of correspondence, proofs, lists, scrapbooks, notes, photographs, programs, announcements, lectures, anthologies, poems, reviews, essays, and a bookplate.

Waples family papers

Abstract

The Waples Family Papers, spanning the dates 1753-1864, outline the family’s role in the economic development of Milton in Broadkill Hundred, Delaware. But the bulk of the collection, 1851-1864, focuses on Gideon B. Waples, beginning with the pre-Civil War period when he was a student at Delaware College. After he voluntarily left his studies, he became a farmer and businessman in southern Delaware; he also served as a political aide to two governors of Delaware during the Civil War.
