Autograph letter from Pennsylvania politician Thomas McKean to James Rogers about a farm possibly purchased in his name at a Sheriff's sale. He also requests that a deed be drawn and presented to the Sheriff for execution. Thomas McKean served as a delegate to the Continental Congress and governor of Pennsylvania.

Abstract
This holograph booklet was written by Philip Reading, an Episcopal minister and missionary in New Castle County, Delaware, in 1765, and contains five sermons on various subjects, including "On the Love of God," "On the Love of our Neighbor," "On the Love of our Brother," "On the Love of the World," and "On the Love of ourselves."
