Abstract

The Gertrude Käsebier papers consist of a small amount of handwritten and typed reminiscences, typed transcripts of the original handwritten material, and newspaper clippings collected by immediate family members to document the personal experiences of the noted American pictorial photographer. The papers are not dated, but most appear to have been created after Käsebier's death in 1934.

Cherie Nutting is a photographer and musical artist manager known, among other activities, for her photographs of expatriate author and composer Paul Bowles. This collection comprises Nutting’s photographs of Paul Bowles in various settings as well as photos of his residence and several objects of significance to him. The photographs include Nutting’s handwritten captions and contextual inscriptions.

Abstract Shipley, Bringhurst, and Hargraves are the family names associated with Rockwood, a Victorian Rural Gothic Revival mansion and estate that was built in North Wilmington, Delaware, between 1851 and 1854.
