The Ayer family Papers document the lives of two generations of the Ayer family, Joseph Cullen Ayer (1839-1918) of Massachusetts and Joseph Cullen Ayer, Jr. (1866-1944), the second son of Joseph and Carrie Ayer.

One photocopy typescript of an address at the Founders' Day Exercises, Academy of Newark, University of Delaware, delivered on November 21, 1982, by Delaware lawyer, Edward W. Cooch, Jr., entitled, "Francis Alison, His Life and Influence on His Times." Includes pages 1-7, 9-14.

Letters of British poet and clergyman Thomas Agar Holland to George Reid. Enclosed with the letters are two autograph poems, a printed supplement of poems, and an essay.

The Littell family papers include correspondence, letters, scrapbooks, commonplace books, copybooks, published material, ephemera, realia, financial records, diaries, books, artwork, photographs, greeting cards, postcards, clippings, and research notes created or collected by members of the Morris, Harrington, Littell, and Winslow families of Pennsylvania and Delaware from circa 1808 to 2004.

The McLeod family papers, spanning the dates 1798 to 1893, primarily pertain to the careers of Rev. Alexander McLeod and his son Rev. John Niel McLeod, who consecutively served as pastors to the First Reformed Presbyterian Church in New York City.

Reverend Theodore William Snow's travel journal chronicles three separate trips to the British Isles and Brazil in the 1830s. Snow’s ink and pencil entries fill a marbleized paper-covered account book and detail travel by ship, landmarks and structures seen, events, social customs, and religious practices.

Sent by American clergyman, biographer, and autograph collector William Buell Sprague between 1836 and 1874, these letters document both Sprague's writing of Annals of the American Pulpit and his efforts at collecting autographs.

Reverend Nathan Stone (1708-1781) led the church in Southborough, Massachusetts, beginning in 1730. A religious conservative, like his father Nathanael Stone of Harwich, Massachusetts, he also served as secretary to the powerful "Marlborough Association" of local ministers.

The scrapbook collection of Reverend Willard M. White, Delaware-born Methodist minister, spans nearly seventy years and includes ten scrapbooks relating to White’s education at the Westminster (later Wesley) Theological Seminary, work with Christian youth clubs and camps during the 1930s, and service to several Methodist Protestant and United Methodist churches in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
