George Adolphus Storey papers

Abstract

The papers of George Adolphus Storey, R.A., prolific British painter and longtime teacher of perspective at the Royal Academy of Arts in London, include both published and unpublished books, poems, plays, fiction, essays, lectures, notes, sketches, inventories, diaries, and other personal writings. Also included are several items belonging to his daughter, Mary Gladys Storey, an actress well-known for her charitable work during World Wars I and II.

Abstract

The Louis Untermeyer papers consist of five linear feet of manuscript material abandoned by Untermeyer when he sold his Adirondack home, Stony Water, around 1970. Dating from 1902 through 1972, with the bulk of the papers dating 1912–1935, the collection is composed of correspondence, proofs, lists, scrapbooks, notes, photographs, programs, announcements, lectures, anthologies, poems, reviews, essays, and a bookplate.

Robert B. Wolf (1877-1954) was an engineer and labor-management professional born and raised in Newark, Delaware. He was educated at Delaware College (now known as the University of Delaware), and subsequently worked in various positions in the paper and pulp industry. The Robert B. Wolf papers consist of his correspondence with friends and colleagues, writings on industrial management, and his collected reference materials.
