A collection of materials related to American playwright and screenwriter David Mamet, assembled by theater collector and book dealer Richard Hoffman.

The Richard Hoffman's collection of materials from the African-American playwright Lorraine Hansberry collection spans the dates 1959-1986 and comprises 17 items, including photographs, playbills, programs, a screenplay for A Raisin in the Sun(1959), and articles related to The Sign in Sidney Brustein's Window(1964).

The Richard Hoffman - Neil Simon collection spans the dates between 1955 and 1993 and comprises three linear feet of playscripts, film scripts, correspondence, posters, flyers, periodicals, theater programs, and photographs related to the American playwright Neil Simon.

The Richard Hoffman Woody Allen collection spans the dates 1966-1995 and comprises autograph, printed, and audio material from the American playwright and film maker Woody Allen.

The Walter E. Holt, Jr., photographs of the Frear family and letter from J. Allen, Frear, Jr. contains seven photographic portraits taken between 1954 and 1957 by Walter E. Holt, Jr. of Delaware Senator J. Allen Frear, Jr., his wife, Esther Frear, their son Fred, and their daughter Clara. Also included is a letter from Senator Frear to Walter Holt, believed to be the photographer's father.

Documents and memorabilia associated with Harriet Elizabeth Hutchison's service as a nurse in the Army during World War II, and some post-war personal notes and official documents.

This travel journal documents two trips to London, England, taken by Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, resident Mary Olmstead Ives in the 1890s. Mary, who accompanied her husband Frederic Eugene Ives and son Herbert, described the journey by steamship to England, as well as events, social engagements, landmarks, tours, and local customs.

The Everett C. & Louise Stanton Johnson papers concern the personal affairs of prominent Delaware publisher and politician Everett C. Johnson (1877-1926) and his wife Louise Staton Johnson (1882-1977). In addition, the collection contains material from their Newark publishing house, the Press of Kells, which brought the Arts and Crafts Movement to the community from 1916 to 1918.

Two linear feet of correspondence, clippings, official records, photographs, publications, ephemera, and other materials primarily related to Junior President Frazer Jones’s work in the Robert Kirkwood Society of the Children of the American Revolution.

This collection consists of photograph albums, training manuals, documents, and artifacts related to Thomas F. Jones, Sr.'s service in the Civilian Conservation Corps and later as a solider in the United States Army Coast Artillery stationed in Hawaii during and after the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.

Documents in the University of Delaware’s Lincoln Collection that contain Abraham Lincoln’s original signature or other autograph writing, including rare signed copy of “A Resolution,” submitting the Thirteenth Amendment to the States. Part of a much larger collection of Lincolniana that came to the University from the Lincoln Club of Delaware in 1972.

The Abraham Lincoln collection comprises a variety of Lincolniana - including Civil War era newspapers, art work, sheet music, and realia - collected and assembled by the Lincoln Club of Delaware.

The Rachel Leah Lindeman album is a presentation album which was given to Lindeman on March 18, 1862, in honor of her birthday. The album, which contains thirty-four pages of photographs, poems, artwork (pencil sketches, ink drawings, cartoons, illuminations, watercolors, etc.), elaborate calligraphy, and pressed flowers dating from 1862 to 1877, is a fine example of a Victorian presentation album with colonial Indian influences.
