The papers of Delaware artist Charles Allmond (1931-2019) document over three decades (1981-2013) of his prolific career. The collection comprises 3 linear feet and oversize removals that include drawings, designs, slides, sculptures, as well as files of correspondence and documentation for exhibitions in which his work was included.

The Roland E. Bounds Collection: Papers and Ephemera includes books, magazines, convention programs, posters, photographs, artwork, and objects related to Bounds’s collecting activities. The bulk of this collection relates to his interest in science fiction and its subgenres, fantasy and horror. Roland E. Bounds (1953 – 2002) was, by vocation and avocation, a collector.

The Roland E. Bounds Science Fiction Periodical Collection contains several hundred issues of science fiction and fantasy magazines dating from the 1920s to 2001, with an emphasis on vintage (pre-1953) issues. The bulk of the collection consists of three time periods: 1930s- to the mid- 1940s, the late 1950s, and a final large group from the mid- to late- 1970s. The majority of the 144 titles in this collection were published in the United States, with a few British and German exceptions.

Co-edited by John Hinsdale Thompson and John Malcolm Brinnin and based in Detroit, Signatures was a literary magazine of "works-to-be-published-later" written by contemporary American and international writers. Subtitled "Work in Progress," Signatures was first published in the Spring of 1936 and continued for a total of three issues, ceasing publication in 1938.

Martha L. Carothers is a book artist and Professor Emerita of Art and Design at the University of Delaware who specializes in graphic design and book arts (typography, book design, bookbinding, and letterpress printing). This collection comprises paper sample catalogs and art and design publications collected by Carothers in support of her teaching and artistic activities.

The Everett C. & Louise Stanton Johnson papers concern the personal affairs of prominent Delaware publisher and politician Everett C. Johnson (1877-1926) and his wife Louise Staton Johnson (1882-1977). In addition, the collection contains material from their Newark publishing house, the Press of Kells, which brought the Arts and Crafts Movement to the community from 1916 to 1918.

The Lucie Jenkins Johnson culinary ephemera collection contains recipe booklets, periodicals, pamphlets, books, and recipe cards related to twentieth-century American foodways. The collection is a rich source of materials from corporations, trade associations, and government agencies that highlight contemporary ideas about advertising, nutrition, and household technology.

The David M. Nelson papers document the military, athletic, coaching, and administrative careers of twentieth century American football rules authority and former University of Delaware coach and administrator, David Moir Nelson.

Chris Oakley was a longtime resident of Newark, Delaware, a community organizer and a strong advocate for media democracy. The Chris Oakley collection of alternative press consists of alternative press newspapers, community newsletters, magazines and ephemera related to from local to international communities, women's activism and local writers, as well as some personal papers.

This collection consists of material accumulated over a 25-year period by Ulick O’Connor: biographer, poet, playwright and journalist. O’Connor’s biographies of Brendan Behan and Oliver St. John Gogarty have been recognized internationally as definitive works. A large portion of the collection deals with materials for these books.

The Warner Perry papers include personal records related to Perry’s life and many hobbies. The major subjects of the collection are Perry’s magic documents, his personal papers, financial information, written works, invention designs, and family photographs.

This collection contains materials related to Walter Penn Shipley, a Philadelphia lawyer and well-known amateur chess enthusiast of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Materials include photographs, magazines and newspaper articles of Shipley’s chess activities as well as photographs, correspondence, and newspaper clippings relating to Walter Penn Shipley, his family, and his friends.

Between 1971 and 1995, American playwright Barrie Stavis (1906-2007) wrote approximately 30 letters to historian Stanley Weintraub (born 1929) in which he discussed mutual friends, his writing projects, and their families.

American author, editor, critic and blogger Ben Yagoda (born 1954) retired from teaching journalism and writing at the University of Delaware in 2016. The collection includes research material, drafts and notes, and interviews toward Yagoda's various articles and book-length projects.
