Charles Allmond papers
The papers of Delaware artist Charles Allmond (1931-2019) document over three decades (1981-2013) of his prolific career. The collection comprises 3 linear feet and oversize removals that include drawings, designs, slides, sculptures, as well as files of correspondence and documentation for exhibitions in which his work was included.
Arbres de l’Amérique sketchbook
This volume, entitled “Arbres de l’Amérique,” consists of 157 original pencil drawings (exact copies reduced to one third of the originals) of engraving taken from paintings by P.J. Redouté and Pancrace Bessa done for Francois-Andre Michaux’s North American Sylva, Paris, 1817-1819.

Volumes identified by stab sewing holes; the 6 separate drawings were trimmed. Three volumes have original yellow front wrappers; 2 have in manuscript "Wm. Murray."

Jeanette Slocomb Edwards papers
The Jeannette Slocomb Edwards papers consist of a photocopy of a Christmas poem, a handwritten Christmas/New Year's postcard with a drawing and poem by Edwards on the front, several newspaper clippings and an obituary related to Edwards, who was a poet laureate for the state of Delaware.
Harriet Elliot manuscript original drawings
This bound volume of original graphite sketches, notes, and nature prints is attributed to Harriet Elliot (d. 1825), daughter of Gilbert Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound, 1st Earl of Minto. Minto House and the surrounding landscape in Roxburghshire, Scotland, are the subjects of this sketchbook, with contents dated between 1807-1808. The volume also includes copied verse and studies of geometry and perspective.
Mary Wager Fisher Western floral sketchbook
This sketchbook was created by American journalist and author Mary Wager Fisher (d. 1915) and includes full-color drawings and pencil sketches from the 1870s and 1880s. Most of the drawings depict plants observed around Seattle, Washington, but Fisher also included sketches of buildings, household objects, and people observed elsewhere.

Rachel Leah Lindeman album
The Rachel Leah Lindeman album is a presentation album which was given to Lindeman on March 18, 1862, in honor of her birthday. The album, which contains thirty-four pages of photographs, poems, artwork (pencil sketches, ink drawings, cartoons, illuminations, watercolors, etc.), elaborate calligraphy, and pressed flowers dating from 1862 to 1877, is a fine example of a Victorian presentation album with colonial Indian influences.
John Hill Martin family history
