Abstract
Cornelius Masten was a mid-nineteenth-century resident of the town of Milo, village of Penn Yan, Yates County, New York State. He was a lawyer, the first judge of Yates County, and a Superior Court Councillor. The collection consists of business and personal correspondence, legal documents, and receipts. The personal correspondence is primarily between Masten and his sons (names unknown). Legal documents regarding loans and land purchase, and receipts are also included.
