Paul Bowles collection
The Paul Bowles collection consists of correspondence, manuscripts, editorial matter, periodicals, ephemera, and miscellaneous material acquired from a variety of sources. The collection is added to periodically and complements the Paul Bowles papers (MSS 0163) as well as several other manuscript collections related to Paul Bowles at the University of Delaware Library.
Paul Bowles letters to Ned Leavitt and six typescript manuscripts
This collection consists of ninety-three letters from American expatriate author and composer Paul Bowles to his literary agent at the William Morris Agency, Ned Leavitt, and six typescript manuscripts Bowles sent to the William Morris Agency, all created between 1975 and 1992. There are also six letters written by Bowles to other individuals and three letters written to Leavitt by individuals collaborating on work with Bowles.
The common shore : uncorrected proofs and letter
Author's uncorrected proofs for Robert Kelley's "The Common Shore" and an accompanying letter written by Kelly to publisher John Martin of Black Sparrow Press in which he lists corrections and offers ideas for the book's design.
