Correspondence, 1977-1997
Scope and Contents
Correspondence is arranged alphabetically by sender and frequently includes drafts of Braman’s responses. Following the alphabetical arrangement are folders of legal and miscellaneous correspondence, as well as a folder of drafts of letters written by Braman to others. The final correspondence folder includes mailing lists and labels. Note that the correspondence between Sandra Braman and Douglas Woolf is available in the family correspondence section of Series V. Personal Papers (F63-65).
Some of the topics discussed in the correspondence are condolences to Braman following Woolf’s death, efforts in planning and coordinating the New York memorial service, the publication of new editions of Woolf’s work, as well as personal greetings and conversation.
