Abstract

The Walter E. Holt, Jr., photographs of the Frear family and letter from J. Allen, Frear, Jr. contains seven photographic portraits taken between 1954 and 1957 by Walter E. Holt, Jr. of Delaware Senator J. Allen Frear, Jr., his wife, Esther Frear, their son Fred, and their daughter Clara. Also included is a letter from Senator Frear to Walter Holt, believed to be the photographer's father.

Gee Tee Maxwell political cartoons and caricatures

Abstract George T. (Gee Tee) Maxwell, a native of New Castle, Delaware (1889-1965), was a reporter, copy-writer, and cartoonist for various newspapers, including the Wilmington News Journal from 1920 to 1940. The collection contains five prints, made circa 2010s, of political cartoons and political caricatures originally created by Gee Tee Maxwell, and believed to date from the 1920s.
