Abstract

The Ralph D. Gardner papers is a collection of plays, stories, and case reports written by Pennsylvania State Police officer Ralph D. Gardner. Spanning the dates 1919 to 1967, with the bulk of the collection dated between 1925 and 1944, the papers consist of one linear foot of carbon copies of case reports, correspondence, clippings, a speech, magazines, two photographs, as well as typescript and handwritten manuscripts for plays and stories.

Gary Hindes papers

Gary Hindes is an American journalist and investment manager. In 1988, Hindes ran as a Democrat for lieutenant govenor of Delaware, losing to Dale Wolf by approximately 17,000 votes. The Gary Hindes papers document Hinde's political campaign for Lieutenant Governor of Delaware in 1988 and the ensuing legal case he filed against the Castle/Wolf ticket. The collection also contains informaiton about Hindes' political involvement and public engagement beyond his 1988 campaign.
