Jerome Rothenberg ethnopoetics reading list
Content Description
Jerome Rothenberg's ethnopoetics reading list consists of one six-page mimeographed typescript of an extensive reading list of books, Bureau of American Ethnology reports, and articles and periodicals, which was prepared by Rothenberg, presumably for one of his classes. The list includes occasional commentary which includes praise, as well as cautions and criticisms about specific works. The inferential date for the item (1971) is based on the fact that the title, Shaking the Pumpkin is included with the note: "for release: December 1971."
