Content Description

Three typescript (copied) manuscripts of a report and two addresses written by Lester Snowdon Sinness, a former executive of DuPont. The report is titled "The Rising Star in the East," which consists of a number of small travel stories in Japan, South Korea, China, and the United States, used to compare the societies of each nation. The first address, entitled "Accountability," was given at Carleton College and details Sinness's thoughts on the proper type of education needed to solve the world's problems. The second address, "A Marine Allegory," given at the Honors Day program of the College of Marine Studies of the University of Delaware, is an exposition of Sinness's view on society and man.
