The Edward Field letters to Ilse-Margret Vogel comprise seventeen items roughly spanning the dates between 1992 and 2000, documenting the literary friendship between American poet, novelist, and editor Field and German author and illustrator Vogel. Material includes correspondence with a variety of enclosures, including manuscripts, clippings, notes, and advertisements.

Raymond Foye postcards to Allen De Loach consists of two items. The first is a typed message, dated July 12, 1984, on the verso of a postcard poem by John Wieners, titled au rive and illustrated with a photograph of Wieners. The second item is a handwritten message, dated October 23, 1984, on the verso of a portrait postcard depicting Frank O'Hara by George Montgomery.

The Ernest Hemingway Collection consists of selected periodicals containing contributions by Ernest Hemingway or mention of Hemingway or his work; lobby cards, film posters, and other theatrical and film ephemera relating to the stage or screen versions of Hemingway's work; and other miscellaneous or ephemeral Hemingway materials relating to Hemingway. Periodic additions to the collection are planned.

First edition of the play, The Snugrats, an unrecorded version of BLUE DENIM, Herlihy's first book. One that precedes and is immensely different, textually, from both the Samuel French and Random House editions (1958).

Consists of a sequence of correspondence written by John Clellon Holmes to his wife, Shirley, between May 18-27, 1974, and form a personal journal recording his reflections and experiences during a solitary trip to a family cabin in Maine.

This typescript manuscript of How to Save Your Own Life : a novel, written by Erica Jong in 1977, bears light corrections.

This collection comprises material related to the American actor and playwright Robert B. Kegerreis's 1909 dramatic adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's short story "The Tell-Tale Heart" and his involvement in the New York theater scene of the early twentieth century.

Twenty-one letters from American novelist and playwright Anita Loos to her agent and friend, Ray Pierre Corsini, between 1962 and 1979. The letters discuss the writing and editing of Loos' later works, her travels and social life, and her relationship with Ray.

Original screenplay by David Mamet of The Untouchables, 125 pages plus 25 rewrite pages. Mamet's holograph additions, deletions, and corrections are evident throughout as he advances the storyline to an interim stage that would be reworked further into the film form.

The Elva de Pue Matthews Papers consist of two linear feet of correspondence, drafts of novels written by Matthews, poetry and essays by Matthews or others, clippings, and notes. The collection spans the dates 1917-1962, with the bulk of the collection dating between 1917 and 1949.

Kenneth A. McClane letter to James Baldwin consists of one signed letter handwritten by McClane to James Baldwin on May 15, 1986, which accompanied a copy of his book, To Hear the River. McClane thanked Baldwin for his hospitality during a recent visit and mentioned the desire to bring Baldwin to Cornell University to teach.

The collection comprises letters and postcards written from Paul Metcalf, experimental American writer, to Ted Wilentz, former owner of the Eighth Street Bookshop in New York City, between 1984 and 1991.

Cherie Nutting is a photographer and musical artist manager known, among other activities, for her photographs of expatriate author and composer Paul Bowles. This collection comprises Nutting’s photographs of Paul Bowles in various settings as well as photos of his residence and several objects of significance to him. The photographs include Nutting’s handwritten captions and contextual inscriptions.

This collection of American writer Charles Plymell's manuscripts contains manuscripts for poems, fiction, and essays written by Plymell during the 1970s, as well as a small number of manuscripts of the work of other poets.

Consists of six letters written by James Purdy to publisher Peter Owen, mostly regarding the publication of Purdy's "Mourners Below." Dated between 1984 and 1985, the letters included one enclosure, a Viking Press flyer for "Mourners Below."

The Katharine Pyle papers, spanning approximately 1904–1929, consists of material related to her artistic, business, and personal affairs.

This collection contains material from Neala Schleuning's research and archival collection, most of which was used toward her 1978 dissertation and subsequent book on the American writer Meridel Le Sueur.
