Daybook for an unidentified store located in Wilmington, Delaware, focusing on the sale of textiles and other dry goods. The daybook consists of daily transactions with names, items, and additional notes added in.

These three volumes are account books for the Newark, Delaware, blacksmith shop of Gilbert W. Chambers, kept between 1887 and 1921.

These account books kept by scientist Charles L. Penny record expenses incurred by Delaware College’s Agricultural Experiment Station between 1892 and 1916. The volumes also include information on experiments conducted at the station.

This farm account book was kept by Dr. Thomas Evans and Benjamin T. Biggs of Pencader Hundred, Delaware, between 1792 and 1869.

This receipt book records payments for various goods and services by Thomas Harry of Chester County, Pennsylvania, between 1785 and 1824.

This Newark, Delaware, hotel and tavern daybook belonged to owner, John David Herdman, Jr. It covers transactions for two-and-a-half years of the business with over 3000 entries, including the sale of beer, wine, and spirituous liquors from the tavern as well as charges for lodging at the hotel.

In these mind-nineteenth-century account books, John Janvier of New Castle, Delaware, records his personal loans and investments, including stage lines, financial institutions, and rail companies.
