John Yenn architectural and design drawings

Abstract

This volume of architectural and furniture design drawings by English architect John Yenn was created between the 1760s and 1790s. It includes designs for Carlton House, Blenheim Palace, Ealing Grove, Marlborough House, Woodstock Church, Grantham House, North Aston Hall, Kensington Gardens, and several unidentified residences.

Charles Gatewood (1942-2016) was an American photographer, writer, and videographer, predominantly known for his photographs of Beat generation writers, American musicians and cultural icons, and alt- and countercultural figures and communities. The collection comprises Gatewood’s photographs of musician Bob Dylan, writer William S. Burroughs, artist Brion Gysin, journalist Robert Palmer, sexologist Annie Sprinkle, and body modification and performance artist Fakir Musafar.

Gordon A. Pfeiffer is a Delaware book, postcard, book art, and ephemera collector and an original founder of the Delaware Bibliophiles. The Gordon A. Pfeiffer Delaware postcard and ephemera collection comprises over 1500 postcards depicting Delaware cities and towns, landmarks and events, and advertisements of goods and services in the First State between 1860 and 2008. The collection also contains over 250 QSL broadcasting cards used for promotional purposes by state radio stations.

Willard Stewart photographs of Delaware

Willard Stewart, one of Wilmington, Delaware's, most prominent professional portrait photographers, became the primary photographer for the Delaware Federal Writers' Project and photographed numerous Delaware buildings and landscapes. These photographs document his contributions to the Works Progress Administration (WPA) and the Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS).
