One of the paintings is identifiable as a portrait of Clement Biddle (1740-1814) painted by Bernard Uhle. The other two individuals represented are presumably his first and second wives, Mary Richardson (d. 1773), and Rebekah Cornell. These are presumably the paintings that Alexander Biddle lent to the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in 1887 and 1888...
