American editor and author Henry Mills Alden (1836-1919) served as editor of Harper's Magazine for 50 years from 1869 to 1919. The collection consists of 45 items dating between 1860 and 1949, with the majority comprising letters to Alden from contemporary literary figures between 1860 and 1908.

This collection of American and English poetry readings fliers, posters, and cards comprises promotional ephemera documenting live poetry events in America and England. The collection contains posters, fliers, postcards, calendars, newsletters, programs and other printed and hand-drawn ephemera documenting the activities of poets, live performance venues, and literary networks largely associated with the California and New York experimental poetry scenes.

The American Association of University Women Delaware Division records reflect the history, structure, public policies, and programs of this group, and its relationship to the state branches and national organization of AAUW. AAUW's mission is to advance equity for women and girls through education, advocacy, research, and philanthropy.

The records span the extant dates of the branch, 1972-2002.

The archive of the Angelica and Amity Presses documents the products, operations, and distribution projects of the presses, as well as aspects of the personal relationship between founders Dennis and Marilyn Grastorf.

Beverly Axelrod was a San Francisco-based lawyer heavily involved in civil rights and social justice movements and organizations in the 1950s and 1960s, both as an attorney and as an activist. Her papers consist of correspondence, legal files, organization documentation, activist literature, and other material relating to her life and career. A large portion of the collection documents Axelrod's relationship with writer and activist Eldridge Cleaver.

The Jeffrey Bailey collection of James Leo Herlihy papers is a combination of correspondence and personal papers originated by American author and actor James Leo Herlihy and literary papers belonging to Herlihy’s long-time friend and literary executor, American author Jeffrey Bailey.

Myrna L. Bair served in the Delaware Senate from 1980 to 2000, representing Delaware's 5th District as a member of the Republican Party. For sixteen years, she held a legislative leadership position, including fourteen years as Senate minority leader and two years as minority whip. The bulk of the Myrna Bair papers documents her time as a senator and consists of legislation, correspondence, personal notes, press clippings, and other materials.

The Baltimore Collection contains fifty-three photographic portraits in several print formats. The majority feature Black individuals, although most of those individuals have not been identified. The photographs were found in Maryland. Several have been determined to have been taken in Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, and Washington, D.C.

Letters, photographs, and an unidentified manuscript fragment from novelist, poet, and teacher, Arlo Bates, as well as letters written by his father-in-law, George L. Vose, a former professor of Civil Engineering at Bowdoin College. Includes correspondence from many well known novelists, poets, biographers, scholars, editors, publishers, composers, and statesmen.

The George Handy Bates Samoan papers are made up of correspondence, documents, memoranda, clippings, photographs, and other material relating to George Handy Bates's tenure as a special investigator into Samoan affairs beginning in 1886, and as a commissioner to the 1889 Berlin Conference on Samoan Affairs.

The Beadle and Adams archives contains materials relating to American publisher Erastus F. Beadle (1821–1894) and the dime booklet publishing house in which he was a partner, Beadle and Adams.

The Biddle family papers preserve over one-hundred-and-fifty years of material related to this prominent Philadelphia, Pennsylvania family and detail extensively their professional lineage as attorneys, notary publics, and bankers during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

The papers of American photojournalist, restaurateur, and peace activist Karl Bissinger (1914-2008) encompass nearly seventy years of professional activity. This collection not only provides abundant documentation of Bissinger's careers in photography and social activism, but also offers rich visual resources for the history of photography in post-World War II America.

The Black Family Papers contain 174 items, including letters, greeting cards, postcards, telegrams, pamphlets, programs, photographs, and diaries pertaining to Helen Black Stewart, Lynam Stewart and other members of the Black Family. The papers span the dates 1889-1982, with the bulk of the material dating from 1917-1919 when Willard Black, Helen Black's brother, served in World War I.

The Black portrait photograph collection contains portraits of Black individuals and groups, collected from various sources by the University of Delaware Library. The photographers, sitters, and settings of these photographs are unidentified, unless otherwise noted.

The Karl Wolfgang Böer papers supplement contains the publications, scientific notes, and other papers documenting the professional activities of Karl Wolfgang Böer, a preeminent physicist who pioneered the development of solar energy.

The Roland E. Bounds Collection: Papers and Ephemera includes books, magazines, convention programs, posters, photographs, artwork, and objects related to Bounds’s collecting activities. The bulk of this collection relates to his interest in science fiction and its subgenres, fantasy and horror. Roland E. Bounds (1953 – 2002) was, by vocation and avocation, a collector.

The Paul Bowles collection consists of correspondence, manuscripts, editorial matter, periodicals, ephemera, and miscellaneous material acquired from a variety of sources. The collection is added to periodically and complements the Paul Bowles papers (MSS 0163) as well as several other manuscript collections related to Paul Bowles at the University of Delaware Library.
