The Conant Poster Collection includes 125 posters issued between 1958 and 1990 with the bulk of the collection dating from 1975 to 1985. The Conard-Pyle Company of West Grove, Pennsylvania, was a large horticultural enterprise that specialized in the cultivation and hybridization of roses, best known for its famed Star Roses. The papers chronicle Conard-Pyle's evolution from a small-scale retail business to an influential wholesaler, as well as the financial, legal, and marketing concerns of a major nursery company.

This collection consists of the 1857 Board of Officers (First Regiment of Rifles, Third Brigade, First Division, Pennsylvania Volunteers) constitution, bylaws, and resolutions as well as the signatures and addresses of the officers. Also included are recipes for inks, medicines, cements, pastes, dyes, wines, colognes, and waxes. There are 21 pages of additional recipes and treatments for various medical conditions.

Abstract Jay Cooke (1821-1905) grew up on the Ohio frontier and came to Philadelphia in the late 1830s to work as a clerk for E.W. Clark & Co. In 1860, Cooke formed a partnership with his brother-in-law, William G. Moorhead, and established Jay Cooke & Co. in Philadelphia. The firm dealt primarily in bank notes, bills of exchange, and stock, in addition to discounting paper and receiving deposits. The Civil War, however, turned the direction of the company. In 1924, Republican presidential candidate Calvin Coolidge organized The Lincoln Tour, a 56-day, cross-country road rally of 100,000 automobiles that was designed to be a continuous political parade along the Lincoln Highway, the first transcontinental road for automobiles in the country. This is a photograph of a truck from the Calvin Coolidge and Charles Dawes campaign's Lincoln Tour.

This nineteenth-century copybook and scrapbook was kept by student (and later teacher) Georgina Maria Cooper of Hollandsville, Delaware. It contains pages of copied phrases completed when Cooper was in school, poetry clippings, copied lists of deaths and marriages in Kent County, Delaware, and a list of her students in 1871.
